Getting started with the AirFrame.One portal

The AirFrame.One (AF.1) portal is a web-based interface for browsing and playing the media in your AF.1 environment. It runs entirely in your browser, so you can review content without installing any software and without downloading files to your workstation.

Signing in

The portal is available at the URL for your environment, for example:

https://portal.airframe.one/eu-poc-01

Replace eu-poc-01 with the environment name provided by our team. The sign-in page shows your workspace name and asks for your email address first. Sign in with your AirFrame.One account. This is the same account you use for the AirFrame.One panel in Adobe Premiere Pro.

Browsing your media

After signing in you land on the Media Access page. On the left you see the folder tree of your environment, in the middle the contents of the selected folder, and on the right a details panel.

The asset list shows a thumbnail, name, type, extension and file size for each item. Columns can be sorted, and a breadcrumb above the list shows where you are in the folder structure. You can navigate by clicking folders in the tree on the left or by double-clicking folders in the list.

Playing an asset and viewing its details

Click an asset, for example in the demo folder, to open it in the details panel on the right. The panel contains:

  • A preview player: play the asset directly in your browser. The player includes play and pause, frame stepping forward and backward, a timecode display, volume control and a fullscreen mode.
  • A Details tab: the technical metadata of the asset, including duration, container format, video codec, resolution, frame rate and pixel format, audio codec, sample rate and channels, and the folder path of the asset.

Playback in the portal is intended for quick review and reference. For frame-accurate editing, use the AirFrame.One panel in Adobe Premiere Pro.

Searching

Use the search bar at the top of the page to find assets by name. Suggestions appear as you type, including the folder path of each result, so you can jump straight to the right file. Press Enter to show all results.

Organizing your media

You can organize media directly in the portal:

  • New folder: create folders via the New button at the top right.
  • Rename: use Edit name in the context menu of a file or folder.
  • Move: use Move to folder in the context menu to move files or folders.
  • Trash bin: Move to trash sends an item to the Trash bin in the sidebar, from where it can be restored. See our article on deleting media for details on retention and permanent deletion.

All of these operations are metadata changes within AirFrame.One. Nothing is created, renamed, moved or removed on your S3 bucket, so your storage layout always stays intact.

Access overview

Every file and folder has an Access (depending on user-rights) tab in the details panel. It shows which users and groups have access, split into direct access and access inherited from a parent folder, including the permission level such as View.
